To get experts on virtual enterprises and business process modeling experts together and achieve some level of consensus regarding drivers, barriers and enablers for extended enterprise engineering and implementations of inter-organizational applications.

Themes:
Life cycle of virtual enterprises, decisions support in establishing and operating virtual enterprises, differences between intra and inter-organizational relations, and modeling challenges of these enterprise configurations.

Relevant standards groups: ISO TC184 SC5 WG1 Modeling and architecture, JWG8, JWG 15, ISA S95 Enterprise control system integration, and CEN TC310 WG1 Enterprise-modeling frameworks and modeling language constructs.

To get infrastructure experts and modeling experts together and achieve some level of consensus regarding drivers, barriers, enablers for implementations of inter-organizational support.

Themes:
Infrastructure, methods, and modeling languages to support software interoperability and process interoperability as well as enabling business users to understand the process contents across organisational boundaries and across professional cultures.

Relevant standards groups are ISO TC184 SC4 JWG8 and JWG 15, ISO TC184 SC5 WG1 and WG4, CEN TC310 WG1, ISO/IEC JTC1 ODP (Open Distributed Processing), ISA S95 and CEN TC310 WG1.

To get experts on business process modeling and modeling tool experts together and achieve some level of consensus regarding drivers, barriers and enablers for implementations of electronic-commerce implementations.

Themes:
Modeling language contents, graphical, semantic and syntactic representation (XML), modeling methodologies and their implementation for modeling guidance and support.

Relevant standards groups are ISO TC 184 SC4 JWG8, ISO TC184 SC5 WG1 and CEN TC310 WG1.
